Jamshedpur, March 29 : Pintu Das, Special Ticket Checking Staff of Kharagpur Division and Piyush Kumar, Ticket Examiner of Ranchi Division of South Eastern Railway (SER) have collected more than Rs 1 crore each as penalty from ticket checking during the current financial year (upto 26th March, 2023).
Pintu Das and Piyush Kumar have achieved the individual feat of revenue collection of Rs 1 crore from ticketless or irregular travelling cases. This is the highest ever earnings achieved by any ticket checking staff of South Eastern Railway and 1st time ever individual collection crossed Rs 1 crore.
Pintu Das of Kharagpur Division has collected Rs. 1 crore by detecting 11,861 irregular travelling cases and Piyush Kumar of Ranchi Division has collected Rs 1.02 crore from 11,657 cases for achieving this remarkable performance during the period.
They were felicitated by the Commercial Department of South Eastern Railway for their dedication, hardwork and devotion to duty.
