Tatanagar: South Eastern Railway to run more Holi Special trains

Kolkata, Mar 13: In anticipation of the festive rush during the Holi celebrations, special trains have been scheduled to operate on various routes. The South Eastern Railway has announced Holi Special trains for travelers between Secunderabad-Santragachi, Secunderabad-Shalimar, Chennai Egmore-Santragachi, and Secunderabad-Dharbhanga.The Secunderabad-Santragachi-Secunderabad Holi Specials (Train No. 07223/07224) will depart from Secunderabad on March 22nd, 2024, at 07:05 hrs, reaching Santragachi at 10:30 hrs the next day. In the return direction, the train will depart from Santragachi on March 23rd, 2024, at 12:20 hrs, reaching Secunderabad at 14:45 hrs the following day.

Similarly, the Secunderabad-Shalimar-Secunderabad Holi Specials (Train No. 07225/07226) will depart from Secunderabad on March 25th, 2024, at 04:30 hrs, reaching Shalimar at 06:05 hrs the next day. In return, the train will depart from Shalimar on March 26th, 2024, at 10:00 hrs, reaching Secunderabad at 13:00 hrs the following day. Additionally, the Chennai Egmore-Santragachi-Chennai Egmore Holi Specials (Train No. 06079/06080) will depart from Chennai Egmore from March 19th to April 2nd, 2024, at 13:30 hrs, reaching Santragachi at 21:00 hrs on the third day. In return, the train will depart from Santragachi from March 20th to April 3rd, 2024, at 23:40 hrs, reaching Chennai Egmore at 09:00 hrs on the third day.

Moreover, the Secunderabad-Dharbhanga-Secunderabad Holi Specials (Train No. 07221/07222) will depart from Secunderabad on March 21st, 2024, at 19:00 hrs, reaching Dharbhanga at 10:00 hrs on the third day. In return, the train will depart from Dharbhanga on March 23rd, 2024, at 11:30 hrs, reaching Secunderabad at 04:50 hrs on the third day. All the special trains will have designated stoppages at specified stations within the South Eastern Railway jurisdiction. These special arrangements aim to facilitate smooth and convenient travel for passengers during the festive season.
