Jamshedpur: In a major relief for residents and the business community in the city, the Tatanagar Railway Mail Service (RMS) has started round-the-clock booking of all types of postal articles. The facility will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including Sundays and public holidays.
Key Features and Services:
Continuous Service: Booking of Speed Post and parcels (both domestic and international) can now be done at any time of the day.
Additional Services: Along with booking, various value-added services provided by the Postal Department will also remain available.
Special Opportunity for MSMEs: Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and customers sending bulk shipments can avail special benefits under the BNPL (Book Now Pay Later) scheme.
Contract Facility: Bulk customers can register as ‘Contractual Customers’ and get their shipments processed directly through Tatanagar RMS, saving both time and effort.
Suchit Ranjan, Inspector, Railway Mail Service, Tatanagar RMS, said that the initiative aims to provide uninterrupted and prompt postal services to both the general public and the business community. He urged customers to contact the Tatanagar RMS office directly for more information and to avail the benefits of special schemes.
