Tatanagar: Railways starts campaign against ticketless travelers

Jamshedpur, October 20: Railways has started action against those traveling without ticket and unauthorized journey in trains.

Railways has started a campaign from Friday to arrest those traveling against railway rules during the Puja season. This campaign will run till 27th November.

For this, Railways has issued special instructions to all railway zones. Under this, a team of ticket inspectors and RPF has been formed for special investigation in Chakradharpur division. From Durga Puja till after Chhath, there will be security at the entry and exit points of train and railway platforms.

It is said that the checking campaign in stations and trains will be led by the commercial officer of the division. Those not traveling with valid tickets will be caught and fined.
