Jamshedpur: Rajgangpur Railway Station witnessed a significant milestone today with the official commencement of stoppages for three major trains: the Sambalpur-Gorakhpur Maurya Express (15027/15028), the Hatia-SMVB Express, and the Pune-Howrah Azad Hind Express.
The ceremonial flagging-off event was attended by prominent dignitaries, including Shri Jual Oram, Union Minister of Tribal Affairs and Member of Parliament for Sundergarh, Odisha, and Dr. C. S. Raazeen Ekka, MLA of Rajgangpur. Senior railway officials and local residents were also present to mark the occasion.
The inclusion of these train stoppages is expected to significantly improve regional connectivity, benefiting daily commuters, students, tourists, and the local community. Speaking at the event, Shri Jual Oram emphasized, “This initiative will greatly enhance travel convenience and contribute to the overall development of Rajgangpur and its neighboring areas.”
Dr. C. S. Raazeen Ekka highlighted the positive impact on the region, stating, “These additional stoppages will make train travel more accessible, improving the daily commute for residents and fostering better economic opportunities.”
Tarun Huria, DRM/CKP, reaffirmed the railway’s commitment to improving passenger services. “The addition of these stoppages demonstrates our dedication to expanding rail services, enhancing convenience, and ensuring seamless connectivity for the people,” he remarked.
The new stoppages are anticipated to ease travel and create new avenues for growth and development in the region.
