Tatanagar-Patna Vande Bharat commence regular run from September 18, minimum fare Rs 1,115

Jamshedpur, Sep 17: The Vande Bharat train took more than 12 and a half hours to travel from Patna to Tatanagar, despite arriving early on its journey from Tatanagar to Patna. Passengers reported that the train was stopped at several unscheduled stations during the return trip, causing significant delays.

Some passengers expressed disappointment, stating that the Vande Bharat train’s return journey was worse than the Durg-Ara South Bihar and Tatanagar-Buxar Express, making the trip uncomfortable.

The regular operation of the Tatanagar-Patna, Tata-Brahmapur and Rourkela-Howrah Vande Bharat train is set to begin from September 18.

Tata-Patna train number 20893/20894, will depart from Tatanagar at 5:30 am, stopping at Chandil, Muri, Bokaro Steel City, Gomoh, Parasnath, Koderma, and Gaya before arriving in Patna at 12:45 pm. On its return, it will leave Patna at 2:15 pm and reach Tatanagar at 9:30 pm. This train will operate from Tatanagar and Patna on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

Starting September 18, the Tata-Patna train will offer executive class fares at Rs 2,130 and chair car fares at Rs 1,115.

The Tata-Brahmapur train will have an executive class fare of Rs 2,815. The AC chair car fare is Rs 1,520 with. The train will include seven chair cars and one executive coach.

The Tata-Patna train numbered 21893/21894 will run from Tata on Sundays starting September 22 and from Patna on Mondays starting September 23. It will leave Tata at 5:30 am, stop at Chandil, Muri, Barkakhana, Daltonganj, Garhwa Road, Sonnagar, Gaya, and reach Patna at 3:55 pm. On the return, it will depart from Patna at 1:20 pm on Mondays and arrive at Tata at 11:55 pm.

Tata to Brahmapur Train (20891/20892)
Starting September 18, the Tata-Brahmapur train will depart from Tatanagar at 2:50 pm, stopping at Chaibasa, Banspani, Kedujhargarh, Harichandanpur, Jakhapura, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Balugaon, and arriving in Brahmapur at 11:55 pm. It will halt for two minutes at each station, with longer stops of 10 minutes at Khurda Road and 5 minutes at Bhubaneswar and Kedujhargarh. The return train will leave Brahmapur at 5:15 am and reach Tatanagar at 2:20 pm. The train will run daily except Tuesdays.

Howrah to Rourkela Train (20871/20872)
This train will start from Howrah at 6:00 am, with stops at Kharagpur, Tatanagar, Chakradharpur, and reach Rourkela at 11:50 am. It will stop for five minutes at Tatanagar and two minutes at other stations. The return train will depart Rourkela at 1:40 pm and arrive in Howrah at 7:40 pm, reaching Tatanagar at 4:05 pm. This service will operate daily except Tuesdays.
