Tatanagar-Jammu Tawi Express rescheduled, Tata-Hatia, Tata-Asansol to remain cancelled on Sept 3

SER: Four trains cancelled due to developmental works

Jamshedpur: In a bid to facilitate critical developmental works within the Chakradharpur Division of the South Eastern Railway, a series of temporary train service adjustments have been announced. The scheduled Traffic-cum-Power Block is aimed at enhancing the railway infrastructure and improving overall operational efficiency. However, these necessary adjustments will impact a number of train services as outlined below.

Several trains that operate within the Chakradharpur Division are set to be cancelled on the 3rd of September, 2023, in light of the ongoing developmental activities. These cancellations include: The 18601/18602 Tatanagar-Hatia-Tatanagar Express. The 13511/13512 Tatanagar-Asansol-Tatanagar Express. The 13301/13302 Dhanbad-Tatanagar-Dhanbad Express. The 08152/08151 Barkakana-Tatanagar-Barkakana Special. Short Termination/Short Origination of Train: Additionally, the 08173/08174 Asansol-Tatanagar-Asansol MEMU Special, scheduled for departure on the 3rd of September, 2023, will undergo a short termination at Purulia. This alteration in its route is a direct result of the developmental works taking place in the Chakradharpur Division.

Rescheduling of Train: Commuters planning to embark on the 18101 Tatanagar-Jammu Tawi Express on the 3rd of September, 2023, should take note of a rescheduled departure time. The train will now leave Tatanagar at 18:05 hrs, an hour later than its originally scheduled departure time of 17:05 hrs. This adjustment has been made to accommodate the ongoing developmental activities and to ensure passenger safety.

Passengers and railway users in the Chakradharpur Division are advised to plan their travel accordingly, considering the aforementioned adjustments and cancellations.
