Tatanagar: Holi special trains announced

Jamshedpur, Feb 25: In view of the upcoming Holi festivities and the anticipated surge in passenger traffic, the Railways has decided to operate special trains between Gomti Nagar and Malatipatpur (near Puri) to facilitate smooth and convenient travel for passengers.
Train No. 05064 Gomti Nagar–Malatipatpur Holi Special will depart from Gomti Nagar every Thursday from February 26 to March 26, 2026, at 6:55 pm, and will reach Malatipatpur at 3:30 am on the third day.
In the return direction, Train No. 05063 Malatipatpur–Gomti Nagar Holi Special will leave Malatipatpur every Saturday from February 28 to March 28 at 11:15 am, and will arrive at Gomti Nagar at 8 pm the following day.
During its journey under the South Eastern Railway (SER) jurisdiction, the special train will halt at Bhojudih Junction railway station, Adra Junction railway station, Bankura Junction railway station, Bishnupur railway station, Midnapore railway station, Hijli railway station and Balasore railway station, providing connectivity to key towns and districts en route.
The introduction of these Holi Special services is expected to offer significant relief to passengers travelling to and from eastern India during the festive rush, ensuring enhanced convenience and better crowd management.
