Jamshedpur Sept 22: In light of essential developmental works scheduled in the Adra Division of South Eastern Railway, a series of changes to train services have been introduced to ensure the smooth execution of these projects. These modifications are set to come into effect on specific dates, and passengers are encouraged to take note of the following adjustments:
Cancellation of Trains: 08680/08679 Adra-Midnapore-Adra MEMU Special: Train services scheduled to commence their journey on 26th September 2023, 29th September 2023, and 1st October 2023 will remain cancelled. 08647/08648 Adra-Barabhum-Adra MEMU Special: Train services with journeys starting on 26th September 2023, 28th September 2023, and 1st October 2023 will remain cancelled. Short Termination/Short Origination of Trains: 08174/08652 Tatanagar-Asansol-Barabhum MEMU Special: Train services with journeys commencing from 25th September 2023 to 1st October 2023 will be short terminated at or short- originated from Adra.
18035/18036 Kharagpur-Hatia-Kharagpur Express: Train services with journeys starting on 26th September 2023, 28th September 2023, and 1st October 2023 will be short- terminated at or short–originated from Adra.
03594/03593 Asansol-Purulia-Asansol MEMU Special: Train services with journeys starting from 25th September 2023, 26th September 2023, 28th September 2023, and 1st October 2023 will be short terminated at or short- originated from Adra.
Diversion of Train: 18601 Tatanagar-Hatia Express: Train services with journeys from 25th September 2023 to 1st October 2023 will follow a diverted route, passing via Chandil-Gunda Bihar-Muri. Rescheduling of Trains: 18036 Hatia-Kharagpur Express: Train services scheduled to depart from Hatia on 25th September 2023, 27th September 2023, and 29th September 2023 will be rescheduled to leave at 11.20 hrs. instead of the originally planned 09.20 hrs.
18036 Hatia-Kharagpur Express: Train service on 30th September 2023 will be rescheduled to leave Hatia at 12.20 hrs. instead of the originally scheduled time of 09.20 hrs.
“These changes are necessary to facilitate the ongoing developmental works in the Adra Division of the South Eastern Railway. Passengers are encouraged to plan their journeys accordingly and stay updated with the latest information from the railway authorities. The railway department extends its apologies for any inconvenience these modifications may cause and appreciates passengers’ cooperation during this period of necessary upgrades,” said an official of SER.
