Jamshedpur: For the convenience of passengers, South Eastern Railway has decided to augment the following trains by attaching extra coaches on a temporary basis as per the dates mentioned below: Train No. 18640 Ranchi-Ara Express: One Sleeper Class coach will be attached from 01.08.2024 to 30.09.2024. Train No. 18639 Ara-Ranchi Express: One Sleeper Class coach will be attached from 02.08.2024 to 01.10.2024. Train No. 18619 Ranchi-Godda Express: One Sleeper Class coach will be attached from 01.08.2024 to 30.09.2024.
Train No. 18620 Godda-Ranchi Express: One Sleeper Class coach will be attached from 02.08.2024 to 01.10.2024. Train No. 18005 Howrah-Jagdalpur Express: One Sleeper Class coach will be attached from 01.08.2024 to 30.09.2024. Train No. 18006 Jagdalpur-Howrah Express: One Sleeper Class coach will be attached from 03.08.2024 to 02.10.2024.
Train No. 18105 Rourkela-Jainagar Express: One Sleeper Class coach will be attached from 01.08.2024 to 28.09.2024. Train No. 18106 Jainagar-Rourkela Express: One Sleeper Class coach will be attached from 02.08.2024 to 29.09.2024.
Train No. 18107 Rourkela-Jagdalpur Express: One Sleeper Class coach will be attached from 01.08.2024 to 30.09.2024. Train No. 18108 Jagdalpur-Rourkela Express: One Sleeper Class coach will be attached from 02.08.2024 to 01.10.2024.
Train No. 18117 Rourkela-Gunupur Express: One Sleeper Class coach will be attached from 01.08.2024 to 30.09.2024. Train No. 18118 Gunupur-Rourkela Express: One Sleeper Class coach will be attached from 02.08.2024 to 01.10.2024.
Train No. 18611 Ranchi-Banaras Express: One Sleeper Class coach will be attached from 01.08.2024 to 30.09.2024. Train No. 18612 Banaras-Ranchi Express: One Sleeper Class coach will be attached from 02.08.2024 to 01.10.2024.
This temporary augmentation aims to provide additional capacity for passengers, ensuring a more comfortable and convenient travel experience during the specified period.
Passengers have expressed their appreciation for this move. Rohit Kumar, a frequent traveler on the Ranchi-Godda Express, shared, “The extra sleeper coach will make a big difference. During peak times, it gets really crowded, and this should help ease the congestion.”
Similarly, Priya Singh, who often travels on the Howrah-Jagdalpur Express, remarked, “It’s great to see that the railway authorities are considering our comfort. The additional coaches will make long journeys much more bearable.”
Sunita Das, a regular commuter on the Rourkela-Jagdalpur route, added, “Traveling has been challenging with the limited number of coaches. This augmentation is a much-needed relief, especially during the holiday season when more people are traveling.”
With these positive reactions from passengers, the railway authorities hope that the temporary augmentation will significantly enhance the travel experience for many. The added capacity is expected to accommodate the increasing number of passengers and provide a smoother, more comfortable journey for all.
