South Eastern Railway to Run Tatanagar–Ernakulam Special Train

Jamshedpur: To accommodate the increasing passenger rush, South Eastern Railway (SER) has announced the operation of a special train service between Tatanagar and Ernakulam. This initiative aims to provide relief to travelers on this high-demand route during the busy month of February.

Train Schedule and Route Details

Train No. 08189: Tatanagar–Ernakulam Special

• Departure from Tatanagar: February 22, 2026, at 2:30 PM.

• Arrival at Ernakulam: 9:30 AM on the third day of the journey.

Train No. 08190: Ernakulam–Tatanagar Special (Return)

• Departure from Ernakulam: February 24, 2026, at 11:50 PM.

• Arrival at Tatanagar: 8:30 PM on the third day of the journey.

During its transit through the South Eastern Railway jurisdiction, the special train is scheduled to make key halts at Rourkela and Jharsuguda stations. This service is expected to benefit a large number of passengers traveling toward South India for medical, educational, and business purposes.
