Jamshedpur, August 9: While boarding the Jhargram local train at Tatanagar station on Wednesday morning, 65-year-old Pradeep Sharma fell on the track.
In this incident, his left leg was amputated. The people present on the spot stopped the train by shouting.
The injured Pradeep was taken to MGM Hospital for immediate treatment by the Tatanagar Rail Police. He was treated there. Pradeep told that he lives by begging and is basically a resident of Chaibasa. In the morning he was trying to board a moving train. During this, he fell due to slipping.
