Tata Workers Union virtual training program concludes

Jamshedpur, April 19: The virtual training program organized in collaboration with Tata Workers Union, Jamshedpur and SNTI (Tata Steel) has concluded.

 The biggest batch ever was trained here. There were about 540 trade apprentices in this batch, which is the largest number ever. In this online closing meeting, Tata Workers Union president Sanjeev Kumar Chaudhary Tunnu, general secretary Satish Kumar Singh, deputy president Shailesh Kumar Singh were present.  

New employees joining Tata Steel are first given a two-day training by the Tata Workers Union. In this two-day training program, the glorious history of Tata Workers Union and its achievements, the golden history of Tata Steel, the story of struggles and its culture, the current status of the steel business and the future challenges before Tata Steel, the basic rules of accounts, Topics like quality at workplace, health awareness, importance of digitization, corporate sustainability, qualities of an ideal employee and our ethical values were given.

Sanjeev Kumar Chowdhary, president of Tata Workers Union congratulated everyone and informed that he too started his career in Tata Steel as a trade apprentice.

At the same time, he also said that if the trend apprentices work with hard work and dedication and continue to pursue higher education, they too can reach the top positions in Tata Steel.
