Tata Workers Union recollects life of Prof Abdul Bari on death anniversary

Jamshedpur, March 30: Officials and executives of Tata Workers’ Union led by president Sanjiv Kumar Chowdhary paid floral tributes in front of the portrait of Prof Abdul Bari on the occasion of the trade union leader’s death anniversary. The programme was organized at the TWU office’s conference room.

TWU president Sanjiv Kumar Chowdhary urged that workers should imbibe the lessons from the life of Prof Abdul Bari. He also said that the grave stone of the professor would be repaired renovated and beautified. Research scholar and faculty member of Michael John research Centre, MS Singh Manas gave a detailed account of the life and times of Prof Abdul Bari. Among others present on the occasion included TEWU deputy president Sailesh Kumar Singh, vice presidents S Alam, Shatrughan Rai and Sanjay Singh, treasurer Hari Shankar Singh, assistant secretary Ajay Chowdhary and Suraj Kumar Singh and Jaidev Upadhyay.
