Jamshedpur: With just 45 days left for the Tata Workers’ Union (TWU) elections, the tempo is picking up, and key players are emerging in the run-up to the polls. On Tuesday, former Deputy President Arvind Pandey held a meeting with committee members at his residence. The meeting included members from various committees such as Coke Plant, LD-1, Blast Furnaces, Field Maintenance Electrical, SMD, RMM, HSM, LD-3, and Field Maintenance Mechanical.
During the meeting, all members proposed Arvind Pandey as the candidate for the Deputy President position in the upcoming elections. Members highlighted that Arvind Pandey had demonstrated responsibility and impartiality in carrying out his duties during his previous tenure. They acknowledged his experience and recognized his contributions within the organization, including his role in the INTUC. Members expressed confidence that Arvind Pandey’s candidacy would bring strength to the top leadership.
