Jamshedpur, July 16: The official website of Capability Development department, Tata Steel was launched today by Suresh Dutt Tripathi, VP HRM Tata Steel, at HRM Conference Room.
Speaking on the occasion, Suresh Dutt Tripathi said �This is a good digital way of going forward. It will help promote e-learning technical curriculum crash courses which will aid in employability of youngsters�.
The team�s vision is to see Tata Steel become the leader and catalyst in transforming the education landscape of India- a model for continuous, lifelong learning to meet the needs of tomorrow�s world which would eventually result in impacting every household in India. The world is moving towards the e-learning method of education which the team believes can be further leveraged with the quality of subject matter experts (SMEs) it has. Some of the key features of this website are: Learning & development(L&D) services made available for external stakeholders, Proper B2C retail channel established for the bouquet of e-learning courses and Payment Gateway services available to the users for making online payment
A brochure on E-learning product Catalogue was also unveiled on this occasion. The E-learning catalogue contains all the e-learning modules built till date by the SMEs. The modules are Industry Oriented Training modules, Non-technical modules such as TQM, Industry 4.0, Safety, Soft Skills modules besides others.
