
Bokaro, July 12: A community centre constructed by Tata Steel West Bokaro Division was inaugurated today at Bhailgarha under Mandu block of Ramgarh district by Manish Mishra, General Manager, Tata Steel (West Bokaro) in the presence of Mahesh Prasad, President, Rashtriya Colliery Mazdoor Sangh (RCMS), Mr Kailash Gope, Secretary, RCMS, Mr Anand Kumar, Chief, Land (Raw Materials), Tata Steel, Mr Kumar Vikram, Head, Administration, Tata Steel (West Bokaro), Mr Rajesh Kumar, Head, Project Infrastructure, Tata Steel (West Bokaro) and Mr Keshav Kumar Ranjan, Unit Head, Tata Steel Rural Development Society (TSRDS).
The project was implemented by TSRDS, the rural development wing of Tata Steel with an objective to provide better infrastructure facilities and ambience for the people in and around Bhailgarha.
The community centre constructed over 1750 sqft area includes a big hall of 1207 sqft and two rooms of 73 sqft each apart from separate toilet facilities for ladies and gents. The community centre will cater to around 2000 people of two gram panchayats, namely, Kedla East and Kedla Central.
Reaffirming Tata Steel�s commitment towards the upliftment of community, Mr Manish Mishra said, �Tata Steel is more than a 100 years old company and community development has always been a priority of the company since inception and engrained in its value system. The people of this region are well informed and with their unity along with righteousness, inclusive growth of the region is not far.�
