Jamshedpur, June 18: In an effort to improve the city’s cleanliness and boost performance in the upcoming Swachh Survekshan 2023, Tata Steel Urban Infrastructure Services Limited (UISL) and Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (NAC) held a joint meeting at the Jamshedpur NAC office. The meeting, chaired by the Special Officer, aimed to discuss strategies for strengthening cleanliness initiatives in the city.
During the meeting, Tata Steel UISL offered to provide door-to-door waste collection services in the areas under the jurisdiction of the Jamshedpur NAC. This collaborative approach aimed to enhance waste management and ensure effective waste disposal practices throughout the city.
Special Officer Sanjay Kumar requested the officers from Tata Steel UISL to prepare a comprehensive action plan. This plan would be assessed and forwarded to the relevant department for further evaluation and implementation. He expressed his willingness to extend full cooperation in improving the cleanliness and sanitation standards of the city. Furthermore, he emphasized the need to address the issue of private operators emptying septic tanks in the city. To prevent illegal dumping of waste in drains, he stressed the importance of processing the sewage at Tata’s Bara Sludge Treatment Plant. The meeting was attended by various officials and experts including Jamshedpur Axis City Manager Christina Kachhap, Assistant Engineers Amit Anand and Mahesh Prabhakar, Solid Waste Management (SWM) Expert Saurabh Kumar, Assistant Rajesh Rai, Senior Manager Tata Steel UISL Manoj Singh Shekhawat, and Managers Parmeshwar and Sanjay Tiwari.

Why law and order is very friendly with auto drivers reasons are not known. They damage 4wheelers and attitude to fight with innocent public. On duty traffic police very silent no action over their indecent behaviour or blocking areas at junctions like mango chowk just after bridge to collect passengers.
Major cream areas of town occupied by auto stands, crest havoc, cramping places.
Don’t expect any improvement.
