Jamshedpur: With the view to encourage academic activities, Tata Steel Tube Division, Burmamines, donated books, sweets and other articles of daily use to Tulsi Chhavi Public School in Asanbani on Tuesday. Sources said the Tube Division has been discharging its social obligations by providing necessary help to the school in every six month for the last five years.
A function was held on the occasion at the school precincts. As many as 30 books, white notice boards and water filters were given to the school authorities among other things. The dignitaries present on this occasion included Tube Division president VK Singh, Saroj Singh, school principal Chhavi Mahato, Tulsi Nath Mahato and Vishwanath Mahato.
