Jamshedpur, March 21: An accident occurred at the Steel Melting Shop of Tata Steel’s Kalinganagar plant on Friday at around 11:30 AM, leaving nine individuals injured. The injured were immediately taken to Tata Steel Medica Hospital for medical treatment, and one of them has already been discharged after receiving first aid.
In an official media statement, Tata Steel confirmed, “The medical team is attending to the injured, and all of them are now out of danger. We are committed to providing them with the best possible care and are making all necessary efforts to ensure their well-being.”
The company further stated that the incident has been reported to the concerned authorities, and the families of the injured have been informed. As a safety measure, the accident site has been barricaded, and an internal investigation is underway.
Addressing misinformation, Tata Steel urged the public to refrain from believing fake videos circulating on social media. “As a responsible corporate, the safety and well-being of our employees and stakeholders remain our top priority,” the company emphasized.
