Jamshedpur, October 4: The OMQ Division of Tata Steel has set its foot forward to electrify the Daladiri hamlet of Deojhar Village.
The company provided two transformers of 25 KVA and 16 KVA along with all electrical infrastructures to the village, which was inaugurated on October3, 2016.This rural electrification will cater to 36 Below Poverty Line (BPL) families residing in Daladari village.
These two transformers were charged and connected to the nearest 11KV NESCO grid today. Along with the transformer charging, one LED bulb to each family was gifted by Mr Pankaj Satija, GM (OMQ), Tata Steel.
The senior officials from Tata Steel present on the occasion include Mr P K Dhall, Chief Engineering Services & Projects, Mr Sanjay Virmani, Chief HRM (OMQ), Mr Naveen Shrivastav, Head, Katamati Iron Mine and Mr R A Singh, Head, Power Distribution.
People representing the local community included Ms Revati Naik, Vice Chairman, Joda Block, Mr Janardan Naik, Ex-Sarpanch, Deojhar Gram Panchayat, Mr Sartho Naik, Naib Sarpanch, Deojhar Gram Panchayat, Mr Pandya Munda and Mr Lok nath Munda, Ward Member, Deojhar Gram Panchayat. The villagers from Daladari appreciated Tata Steel`s effort to bring light to their homes.
