Tata Steel pays tributes to JRD with Open Run

Jamshedpur: Tata Steel organized a 10 kilometre open run for men and 5 kilometre for women at JRD Tata Sports Complex on the occasion of the 110th birth anniversary of JRD Tata. Around 500 participants participated in the run.

The 10 KM Open Run for Men was flagged of by Rituraj Sinha, chief (Corporate Services) at 6.45 am. Earlier, he paid homage to JRD Tata. The Open Run for women was flagged off by Ashok Kumar Ghosh, senior manager (Corporate Communications).

Ruchi Narendran, was the chief guest and distributed the prizes to the winners along with Priya Ranjan Prasad, chief HRM (RM), Tata Steel was the guest of honour.

On the occasion, Charles Borromeo, Head Sports, Bagicha Singh, senior coach (CSS) were present. Satnam Singh was the director of the meet. He was supported by Rajeev Mishra and his team, Ahsan Khalid and Suchinder Singh. Prizes were given to the winners and runners up by the guests.
