Tata Steel organizes Nukkad Natak to generate awareness

Jamshedpur: Right to vote is the backbone of every democracy. India, the largest democracy of the world, holds this right as the most precious attribute of the Indian Parliamentary system of democracy. Adult suffrage is the right to vote given to every citizen of India, who is above 18 years of age, with the vision of maximum participation and providing an opportunity to the youth to select their leaders.

A street-corner play titled ‘Don’t Ignore your Right� Cast your vote’ is organized by the Urban Services of Tata Steel to create aware- ness on importance of Right to Vote and encourage the citizens to cast their vote.

The play began from April 3, 2014 and will continue till April 12, 2014. A total of 24 locations are identified for the street plays. The play has already been organised in places such as Ranikudar, Harijan Busti, Baghbera and Sonari. The areas going to be covered in are Shastri NagarTrimurty Chowk, Birsa Nagar, Tilka Majhi Busti, Kapali Busti, Jemko Chowk, Manifit, Muslim Busti, Saraswati Nagar, Oraon Busti, Kasidih Busti, Lanka Tola and Kulup Tanga Busti.
