Tata Steel organizes Intra Centre tribal dance competition

Jamshedpur: In a bid to promote cultural activities, Tata Steel Urban Services department organized an Intra-Centre Tribal Dance Competition on Tuesday at Kitadih Centre.

The competition showcased scintillating tribal dance performances, based on regional songs by 10 teams. Each team consisting of 6-8 girls were the part of group performance. The programme was witnessed by a crowd of more than 500 people. Manoj Hembram was the judge for the programme.

Bela Lugun, principal, GEL Church School, Kitadih, the chief guest for the event, awarded the top three performing teams.

Across its community centres, Urban Services organises cultural activities by engaging residents of various city localities. Such engagements enable the youth to present their creativity. The winners of the event were Sharma Group, Kitadih, while Priya and Group were the first runners up. Beat Breaker Girls were the second runners up.
