Jamshedpur: From time to time, Urban Services, across its community centres, organises various cultural events to creatively engage the communities in basti areas.
Such engagements enable children, youth and women to express their creativity.
An Intra Centre Antakshari Competition was organized yesterday at Bhalubasa Community Centre to encourage participation of youth, exclusively for the young boys and girls of Bhalubasa area. Dr PC Mahapatra, Consultant, Family Initiatives and Health, graced the occasion as the chief guest.
Five teams were formed for the competition. The songs were based on Indian Cinema only. About 150 people witnessed the event. Rahul and Kavita turned out to be the winners.
First runners up were Shivendu and Jhuma while second runners up were Tarun and Khushboo. Shankar was adjudged the best male singer while Shreya was declared best female singer.
