Jamshedpur: In a splendid display of superior skills, five Karatekas from the Tata Steel Karate Training Centre lifted 1 Gold, 1 Silver and 4 Bronze Medals at the 30th AIKF National Karate Championship held at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex Stadium at Balewadi in Pune, Maharashtra.
Pooja Rani won a gold, silver and bronze medal. Khusboo won two bronze medals and Vishal Yadav won a bronze medal. The tournament, hosted by the All India Karate Do Federation (AIKF), saw team participation from 22 States. The team was led by coach, Nageshwar Rao of the Tata Steel Karate Training Centre.
