Jamshedpur, July 17: The Tata Steel Inter JDC Water Polo Tournament 2025 came to a thrilling conclusion this evening at JRD Tata Sports Complex. The tournament saw participation from various departments of Tata Steel, was a testament to the company’s commitment to promote sports and fostering a culture of excellence.
Team of Coke Plant emerged as the champions of the tournament, showcasing their exceptional skills and teamwork. Team of Engineering Services & EQMS (Equipment Maintenance Services) put up a strong fight, securing the runners-up position, while the team of CRM (Cold Rolling Mill) claimed the second runners-up spot.
The event was graced by Chief Guest Hemant Gupta, Head, Tata Steel Adventure Foundation & Academies while Vikram Tripathy, Head, Structures & Services from Engineering Services, Tata Steel was the Guest of Honour. Sanjay Kumar Singh, Vice President, Tata Workers’ Union was also present on the occasion. Vijay Choudhary, Observer, also played a key role in the success of the event.
The tournament was a resounding success, with all participants displaying remarkable sportsmanship and skill. The event served as a platform for employees from different departments to come together, bond over their shared passion for sports and showcase their talents.
