Tata Steel Jamshedpur employee succumbs to injuries after road accident

Jamshedpur, June 30: A tragic car accident has claimed the life of Shyamlal Mahto, a 42-year-old Tata Steel employee who was admitted to the Tata Main Hospital for treatment after sustaining multiple injuries. Despite the best efforts of medical professionals, Mahto tragically succumbed to his injuries on Friday.

Residing in the ECC Flat area of Kadma, Shyamlal Mahto was involved in a severe collision when the car he was driving collided with a stationary truck on the Tata-Kandra four-lane under the Adityapur thana area. The accident occurred on Friday last week, resulting in Mahto’s critical injuries and subsequent hospitalization.

According to reports, the victim had been attending a marriage ceremony in the neighboring Seraikela-Kharsawan district on June 23. On his return journey to Kadma, Mahto had taken the responsibility of dropping several relatives at their respective homes along the way. It was during this journey, around midnight, that the unfortunate mishap took place, leading to the fatal accident.

Shyamlal Mahto, an employee of Tata Steel, was highly regarded by his colleagues and well-known within the community. The news of his untimely demise has left family, friends, and colleagues grief-stricken, mourning the loss of a respected individual.
