Jamshedpur: A 28-year-old employee working in Tata Steel died under suspicious circumstances.
The deceased has been identified as Vikas Kumar Tiwari, a resident of Agrico Cross Road No. 3, who worked in the manufacturing department of Tata Steel. His body was found unconscious in a room of his house on Sunday morning, on receiving the information, the family rushed him to Tata Main Hospital (TMH), but the doctors declared him dead.
On Monday, the police got the post-mortem of the body done. The matter is being investigated.
According to the family, Vikas had gone to attend a party with his friends on Saturday evening and after returning at around 10 pm, he went straight to sleep in his room. At that time only his younger sister was present in the house, while the parents had gone to the village two months ago. On Sunday morning, when the sister knocked on the door and did not get any response, on opening the door, it was seen that Vikas’s body was lying blue.
As soon as the incident was reported, the Sidgora police station reached the spot and started investigation. The police have questioned Vikas’ friends and the body has been sent for post-mortem. The real cause of death will be known only after the postmortem report comes.
