Tata Steel employee commits suicide in Jamshedpur, police recover suicide note

Jamshedpur:  A 44-year-old Tata Steel employee committed suicide by hanging himself at his home in Kadma late Monday night.

The incident occurred late last night, leaving the family and community in shock.

Krishna Nand Singh, the deceased’s maternal uncle, provided details about the incident, stating that Chandan Kumar Singh committed suicide.

The reasons behind the suicide remain unknown to family members. The late Chandan Kumar Singh, a resident of Shastri Nagar Block No. 4 under the jurisdiction of the Kadma police station in Jamshedpur had been a dedicated employee of Tata Steel.

Police on Tuesday recovered a suicide note which shed light on the situation.

In the note, the deceased expressed concerns regarding a family dispute.

He also made a heartfelt plea for the care and well-being of his two children, Sahil and Misty.

Upon receiving news of the incident, the police arrived at the scene, seizing the suicide note and initiating further necessary actions.
