Jamshedpur: A free medical camp was organised on Saturday last at Babudih Bustee under the aegis of Urban Services department of Tata Steel.
More than 400 people benefited through the camp. Similar medical camps were organized earlier on April 19 and 26 last at Bagunhatu and Nandnagar respectively.
�In keeping with the company�s vision, Urban Services under Corporate Relations Division of Tata Steel undertakes various initiatives such as providing free medical check-up facility to bustee people, especially women and children who are underprivileged.
Mobile medical teams operate in the rural and sub-urban areas to extend medical help. Once a year, school children are also examined and given further help,� said a company official.
