Tata Steel celebrates 72nd Republic Day with fervour at Joda

Bolani (Odisha), Jan 27: Tata Steel celebrated 72nd Republic Day in Joda with fervor on Tuesday, January 26.

Keeping in mind, the prevailing situation of Covid-19, the day was observed amid presence of limited guests at JCO office lawn. Rajesh Kumar, Chief (Joda), Tata Steel unfurled the National Flag in presence of senior officials of the Division and Union officials.

Addressing the gathering, Rajesh Kumar, Chief (Joda), said, “Let’s salute the nation on the occasion of 72nd Republic Day and also express gratitude to Covid warriors who are selflessly fighting the pandemic. Their courageous effort during the pandemic is commendable,” he added.

Celebrations were also held at FAP, Joda and Bichhakundi where GP Sahu, Head (FAP), Joda and Amit Kumar Dubey, Head (Manganese Group of Mines), Tata Steel unfurled the National flag respectively. Later in the day, fruits were distributed among the patients of Tata Steel Hospital, Joda.
