Tata Steel bags “Most Participative Corporate” Award at JMA annual meet, XLRI Jamshedpur Prof. Girdhar Ramachandran gets Galactic Gratitude Award

JWU wins ‘Most Participative Academic Institution’ award

Jamshedpur, May 13: The Jamshedpur Management Association (JMA) celebrated its 4th Annual Meet last week.

The programme was attended by distinguished guests, including Chanakya Chaudhary (VP CS, Tata Steel) and the President of JMA.

The event was also graced by senior executives from various organisations, such as the Plant Head of Tata Motors, the Managing Director of JCAPCPL, and the Managing Director of TSUIL. The event was attended by the Board members of JMA, which included Sanjay Sabharwal, Amitabh Bhattacharjee (Honorary Secretary, JMA),  Ravi Radhakrishnan,  Vishal Agarwalla, Prof. Sunil Sarangi, and  Amitava Bakshi.

The event also saw representatives from various corporates and academic institutions. The programme was also graced by Co-founder of Wow! Momo, Binod Homagai, who delivered a virtual talk on How to seed and scale a successful start-up .

During the event, five awards were presented for the fiscal year 2023-24. The Galactic Gratitude Award was presented to Prof. Girdhar Ramachandran of XLRI Jamshedpur.

The “Most Participative Academic Institution” award was given to Jamshedpur Women’s University (JWU), and the “Most Winning Academic Institution” award was presented to ARKA JAIN University.

In the corporate category, Tata Steel bagged the “Most Participative Corporate” award, while Tata Motors secured the “Most Winning Corporate” award for the third consecutive year.

The programme concluded with an entertainment program featuring members of JMA from different corporates.
