Jamshedpur, May 12: Athletes from the Tata Steel Adventure Foundation (TSAF) Sport Climbing Academy delivered an impressive performance at the IMF Nilgiri Speed Climbing Cup held on May 11, 2025, in Nilgiri. Competing across various age categories in both boys’ and girls’ divisions (Under-19, Under-17, Under-15, and Under-13), TSAF climbers secured a total of 11 medals out of 24, including five gold, five silver, and one bronze.

In the Under-19 and Senior Girls’ category, Joga Purty clinched gold. Bhoj Birua won gold in the Under-17 Boys’ category, while Kundan Kumar Singh and Rajesh Honhaga secured silver and bronze respectively. In the Under-17 Girls’ category, Savitri Samad earned silver. Sudarshan Murmu won gold in Under-15 Boys, and Sahil Kumar Das took silver. Basanti Murmu claimed silver in the Under-15 Girls’ category. Among the youngest participants, Shankar Singh Kuntiya and Manisha Hansda took gold in Under-13 Boys and Girls respectively, while Akash Soren won silver in Under-13 Boys.
The team was accompanied by Coach Babulal Rawat, Manager Roshni Bisht, and Instructor Vikash Kumar. TSAF continues to excel nationally, with recent wins at the Kolkata Lead Cup and Goa Boulder Cup.
