Tata Sons Chairman Chandrasekaran tours new trim line factory at Tata Motors Jamshedpur    

 
Jamshedpur, March 3: Tata Motors Jamshedpur celebrated Founder’s Day, marking the 183rd birth anniversary of its Founder Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata on Thursday, March 3.

The day-long celebration began with Tata Sons Chairman, N. Chandrasekaran offering floral tribute to founding father along with other dignitaries and honorary guests across Tata Group. T. V. Narendran, CEO & Managing Director, Tata Steel also graced the occasion by his presence. The employees from Tata Motors as well as Tata Group paid homage to the founder.

Following the homage ceremony, the Chairman met with the entire senior leadership team and toured state- of-the-art production facility at the new trim line factory . The future range of products & aggregates were specially been showcased by the team on this memorable occasion.

Commenting on the occasion Vishal Badshah, Head Jamshedpur Plant, Tata Motors said, “Today is a very special day for all of us at Tata Motors as we pay homage to our founder J N Tata, whose legacy remains anchored in the ethos of business conduct throughout the Group. We celebrate this day to convey a sense of pride and fulfillment about being part of the Tata family. It was a great privilege to have Group Chairman in our plant today.”
