Tata-Rotary ‘Forest Trail’ second phase launched in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, July 16: The second phase of Tata Rotary Forest Trail was launched on Friday, July 16.  It is known that Rotary Club of Jamshedpur West launched Vasundhara Project under which 12 lakh saplings will be planted in and around Jamshedpur.  Big campaigns of planting 10,000 and 1,50,000 saplings respectively have already been successfully organized at Dhanchatani and Pipli village. It is worth mentioning that Tata-Rotary Forest Trail was launched last year on approx. 10 acre of land created over the garbage dump yard situated between Circuit House Area and Marine Drive at Balidih Gram Basti by Tata Steel in association with Rotary Club of Jamshedpur West and Grow-tree.com.

Today Rotary Club of Jamshedpur West, after long discussion with the Architect, Landscaper and Environmentalist, launched the composite plan and started drive to plant 4,000 saplings at the Marine Drive Trail Rotary in the presence of Chief Guest PAG Amitava Bakshi , Chief Procurement ,Tata Steel. The program was also attended by Rotarian Rajesh Kumar, President of Rotary Club of Jamshedpur West, Dist. Secretary Rotarian Alokananda Bakshi,  Rajiv Talwar, Rajnish Talwar, Sanjeev Sehgal, Bipin Srivastava, Nibha Mishra, Ajay Gandhi and Rajeev Sinha from Tata Steel.
