Jamshedpur, Dec 10: Tata Motors Workers Union’s A team clinched the volleyball title at the Inter-Union Sports Tournament 2025 held at the JRD Sports Complex. The Tata Workers Union’s Red team finished as the runner-up. A total of 12 teams participated in the tournament, which featured volleyball, badminton and handball events from December 8 to 10.
In the final volleyball match, the Tata Motors Workers Union players displayed strong teamwork and skill, winning convincingly with scores of 25-12 and 25-18.
The tournament concluded on Wednesday evening with a prize distribution ceremony. The winners and runners-up were presented awards in the presence of VP Raw Materials Sandeep Kumar, Tata Steel Sports chief Mukul Vinayak Choudhari, Tata Workers Union President Sanjeev Chaudhary, Shailesh Kumar Singh, Tata Motors Workers Union President Shashi Bhushan Prasad, General Secretary RK Singh, and other dignitaries.
