Jamshedpur: The Tata Motors Workers Union (TMWU) celebrated the decades-long contributions of its workforce during a poignant monthly farewell ceremony at Gopeshwar Hall. Led by Union President Shashi Bhushan Prasad and General Secretary R.K. Singh, the union honored retirees from across the company’s manufacturing divisions, presenting them with shawls and mementos as they transitioned into post-service life.
Senior union leaders, committee members, and members of the R.K. Singh Fans Club were also present on the occasion. Addressing the gathering, General Secretary R.K. Singh said that although the employees had retired from the company, their association with the union would continue forever. He encouraged them to visit the union office whenever possible and share their experiences and suggestions. Union President Shashi Bhushan Prasad echoed similar sentiments, stating that the union would always value the guidance and advice of its retired members.
The programme was conducted by Prakash Vishwakarma, while the vote of thanks was delivered by Anil Sharma. Several employees from different divisions, including TML Drive, Cab and Cowl Factory, Engine, Foundry, Vehicle Factory, and Frame Factory, were honoured during the ceremony.
