Mail News Service

Jamshedpur: Tata Motors has taken another significant step towards workforce regularization by releasing a list of 225 temporary workers for medical examination at the company’s Labour Bureau Office in Jamshedpur.

The move is part of a tripartite agreement between the union, management, and the government, under which 225 temporary workers are to be regularized every quarter. In line with this understanding, the current list marks the ninth batch of temporary employees set to be absorbed as permanent staff at the Jamshedpur plant.

Union leaders described the development as a major milestone in ensuring job security and stability for long-serving temporary workers. Extending his congratulations, union general secretary R.K. Singh conveyed his heartfelt greetings and best wishes to all workers included in the list, calling it a moment of pride and achievement for the workforce.

The regularization process is expected to continue in the coming quarters as per the agreed framework, bringing relief and long-term security to hundreds of workers at Tata Motors.
