Tata Motors plant head meets SSP, congratulates police team

Jamshedpur : A day after, the district police arrested four persons who were responsible for the crimes like murder, and firing across the steel city, AB Lal, plant head of Tata Motors met SSP Amol V Homkar and congratulated the team for this achievement.

Latter, talking to the media, he said that the arresting of the accused is a great achievement for the administration.

Lal said that the company will cooperate with the police in every possible way. The company has beefed up security of the company’s executives in Nildih area. The company security guards in collaboration of the local police will ensure safety.

On the other hand Mohanlal Agrawal president of Jamshedpur Chamber of Commerce also met the SSP and congratulated him.

Those arrested included a police constable, Anjan Kumar Shukla (30), who was presently posted at Golmuri police line. The other three were identified as Mangal Tiwary, Manish Pandey, and Kanhaiya Jha.

The police have also recovered three fire-arms, including two pistols of 7.65 range and huge quantity of ammunition, one sim card, one cell-phone and two stolen bikes from their possession.

A crime wave had gripped the city in recent months with figures showing a considerable increase in the number of murders and attacks taking place across the city.

In last few months alone, three Tata executives were attacked while one of them died.
