Defeats TCS in Thrilling Final in Mumbai
JAMSHEDPUR, March 1: Tata Motors Jamshedpur clinched the 2026 Tata Inter Company Corporate Cricket Tournament title after defeating Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) in the final held in Mumbai. The tournament was organized by Tata Sports Club.
The Jamshedpur team delivered consistent performances throughout the tournament and outplayed TCS in a competitive final to lift the championship trophy. Talkeshwar Tiwari was named Best Bowler for his impressive wicket-taking spells, while Dhiraj won the Best Batsman award for his outstanding run-scoring efforts.
The winners and runners-up were felicitated by Parvatisam Kanchinadham, Company Secretary and Chief Legal Officer of Tata Steel, who attended the event as the chief guest.
The team’s success was supported by strong encouragement from Tata Motors leadership, enabling players to balance production responsibilities and sporting excellence.
