Jamshedpur: Sunil Kumar Tiwari, Plant Head, Tata Motors Ltd, Jamshedpur, has been elected Chairman of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Jharkhand State Council for the year 2025-26. Diloo Parikh, Director, Vaidehi Motors Pvt. Ltd, has been elected as Vice-Chairman. The announcement was made during the CII Jharkhand State Annual Meeting held in Jamshedpur on Monday.
A seasoned industrial professional, Sunil Kumar Tiwari brings 28 years of experience in leading organizations such as Tata Motors Ltd, Ashok Leyland, Tata Cummins, and UltraTech Cement (Aditya Birla Group). A graduate of the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Patna, he holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and is also a certified coach and Six Sigma practitioner.
Currently serving as the Plant Head of Tata Motors’ Commercial Vehicle Business Unit in Pune, Mr. Tiwari has played a pivotal role in enhancing manufacturing excellence, safety culture, and world-class operations. His contributions to the industry have earned him several prestigious accolades, including the Golden Peacock National Quality Award, the National Safety Award from the Vice President of India, and multiple Chairman’s Awards. He has also been associated with the renowned Deming Award and the Manufacturing Excellence Award from Frost & Sullivan.
Beyond his corporate accomplishments, Mr. Tiwari is dedicated to social causes and has supported eye operations for 250 underprivileged individuals.
Diloo Parikh, the newly elected Vice-Chairman, hails from Jamshedpur and has been actively involved in his family’s automobile dealership business, representing Mercedes-Benz passenger cars and Tata Motors commercial vehicles. He has previously served as the Chairperson of the Federation of Automobile Dealers Association (FADA) – Jharkhand and is an Executive Committee Member of the Air Passengers Association of India (APAI). A passionate aviation enthusiast, Mr. Parikh enjoys collecting airplane models and is an avid golfer.
