Tata Motors Jamshedpur: Meeting on safety measures at workplace 

Jamshedpur, October 13: Tata Motors Workers Union members at a meeting held on Friday expressed their views on the efforts being made by the union and the management on workplace safety measures.

As per the fixed agenda, the problems of routine work were discussed by the present members. Almost all the members expressed their views on the third agenda. In which it came to light that the union has been making continuous efforts since the beginning for the regularisation of temporary workers.

The General Secretary of the union assured the executive members to find a solution for the regularisation of temporary workers by talking to the management at every level. In recent days, in the light of the order of the Jharkhand High Court, the order passed by Deputy Labor Commissioner Dhalbhum was discussed in detail.

General secretary of the union R, K Singh said that the union is gearing up for a decisive fight for the regularisation of temporary workers. If necessary, a permanent solution will be resolved by talking to the senior officials of Bombay/Pune Board along with the local level management of Jamshedpur.

A demand was continuously being raised by the employee brothers that the monthly salary which comes on the 5th of every month, should be changed to the 1st of the month. There has been a discussion with the management regarding this and probably from the next month the monthly salary will come on the 1st of the month.
