Tata Motors Jamshedpur ensures 100% vaccination of school children

Jamshedpur, Feb 15:  Tata Motors has successfully completed the COVID-19 vaccination of children in the age group of 15 to 18 years in the schools supported by the company. 

More than 7200 adolescents in the school have been fully vaccinated within a month.

 The team from Tata Motors Hospital, East Singhbhum district administration and OHC (Occupational Health Center) of Jamshedpur plant played a vital role in the vaccination drive. Apart from vaccination, Tata Motors Hospital staff have been conducting regular programs to educate children and their parents on the COVID-19 protocol.  They are being educated on how to wear the right mask, maintain social distance, wash hands frequently, avoid visiting crowded places and avoid unnecessary travel.

Dr. Sanjay Kumar, Head of Medical Services, Tata Motors, Jamshedpur said that children are the citizens of the future and it is our responsibility to protect them. He also expressed his gratitude to the parents for their cooperation in vaccination.
