Tata Motors Jamshedpur bids farewell to retirees

Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur witnessed a warm and dignified farewell as Tata Motors Workers’ Union organised a felicitation-cum-send-off ceremony for its retiring employees at Gopeshwar Hall on Tuesday.
The event brought together Union President Shashi Bhushan Prasad, General Secretary R.K. Singh, office bearers, committee members, members of the R.K. Singh Fans Club, and the retirees along with their spouses.
In a gesture of gratitude, the Union honoured each retiree with ceremonial shawls and mementos, acknowledging their invaluable contribution to the company’s growth.
The occasion turned reflective as several retirees shared their experiences and memories from years of dedicated service.
Addressing the gathering, General Secretary R.K. Singh assured continued support, emphasizing that the Union remains committed to the well-being of its members even after retirement.
He credited the retirees for their unwavering dedication, stating that their efforts played a vital role in elevating both the company and the Union.
The retirees, in turn, expressed appreciation for the Union’s support and its proactive approach.
The programme was conducted by Ashok Upadhyay, while B.K. Sharma delivered the vote of thanks.
Among those honoured were employees from various divisions including Vehicle Factory, Driveline, Frame Factory, Vehicle Preparation & Dispatch, Engine Division, Cab & Cowl Factory, and Foundry, marking the culmination of their long and commendable service journeys.
