Jamshedpur: The annual prize distribution ceremony for Tata Motors Sports 2012-13 was held in LFS auditorium. Mr A B Lall, Head Jamshedpur Plant was the chief guest on the occasion and gave away the prizes to the employees and school children in different categories, in the presence of large number of senior executives of Tata Motors, TML Drivelines, Tata Cummins, Tata Hitachi, Tata Technologies and TACO.
Mr Chandrabhan Prasad General Secy of Telco workers union and large number of union office bearers were also present on the occasion. The function was also attended by a large number of sportspersons from Tata Motors, its subsidiary and associate companies as well as school children from 15 schools. Principals from the school were also present.
The winners were: Best athlete -Girls- Soumya Suman � Gulmohar High school, Best Athlete �Boys- R Udaya- VidyaBhartiChinmayaVidyalaya, Best Athlete- Women- Shiba Thomas � Prima Challengers, Best Athlete- Men- S K Tomer- Indigo Fighters, Best Coach- schools- Eqbal Singh � Gulmohar High school, Overall Champions- Schools Category- Gulmohar High school, Overall Champions- Women�s Category- Safari Royals, Overall Champions � Men�s Category- Nano Warriors,
A cultural programme by the school children was also organised by the school children from various schools on the occasion.
