ICU beds to increase from eight to 20

Jamshedpur: City�s leading health hub, Tata Motors Hospital is gearing up to add new facilities to cater to the growing needs of the patients. On the occasion of Doctors� Day, the senior management of the hospital interacted with media and shared their future plans.
Dr Sanjay Kumar, head medical services, Tata Motors said that they are working project to increase Intensive Care Unit (ICU) beds from eight to 20 beds. Moreover, Dialysis units will be increased from seven to 12 beds. The hospital will also add new male medical ward.

� These projects are part of our ongoing expansion plans. We are confident to complete these projects in next four months. Tata Motors Hospital recently also opened the doors to a new state-of-the-art facility eye-operation theater. The facility is catering to the employees and also to the local residents.
Dr Kumar added that the eye-operation theater enables the hospital to offer the best and the latest in technology. All the components of the theatre system are fully integrated and designed to carry out advance surgeries with a quality which can be benchmarked with any international standard.
