Jamshedpur: Tata Motors, Jamshedpur plant, has been awarded trophy and certificate for the commendable work done on environment management by �Jharkhand State Pollution Control Board� (JSPCB) under two categories of �Water Conservation & Rain Water Harvesting� and �Biomedical Waste Management by TML Hospital�.
Both the awards were handed over by Ajay Kumar Mishra, Chairman JSPCB on the occasion of World Environment Day (5th June 2014) in Ranchi. Dr. Mahendra Mahto, Member Secretary, JSPCB was also present during the occasion. Whole day Seminar was also organized by JSPCB on �Environmental responsibility for sustainable development�.
Chandrabhan Prasad, General Secretary-TWU, Romesh Kachroo, DGM (US) and Prashant Krishnan, DM (Environment) received the awardon behalf of the organization.
A total of 18 Industries from Reputed Corporate Houses from Jharkhand State participated for various Awards in Environment Management.
