Tata Motors delegation meets SSP, demands investigation

Jamshedpur : Tata Motors plant head A. B Lall on Sunday met the East Singhbhum senior superintendent of police Amol V. Homkar and expressed concern over the murder of company’s officer.

The officer identified as Brajesh Sahay resident of Nildih, Telco was gunned down outside his house and he died on the spot. The shooters fled from the scene while Nildih Police station officials reached the spot. The matter is under investigation.

The wife of the deceased executive Sweta Sahay along with neighbours rushed Brajesh to Tata Motors Hospital , where the doctors declared him brought dead.

Meanwhile, a three member delegation of Tata Motors led by Jamshedpur plant head A. B Lall and other –spokesperson Capt. P. J Singh met the SSP at his office in Sakchi at this afternoon.

�We are shocked over the incident and have gathered here to express our concern. We want the police to investigate and nab the culprits as soon as possible. We also want the police to intensify security for our company�s employees in the township and expressed,� the spokesperson said.

The SSP had yesterday late night formed a special team to probe the case and nab the culprits. The City SP Karthik S is leading the team along with DSPs�DSP city K. N Choudhary and DSP law and order B. N Singh and officer-in-charge of three police stations- Telco, Parsudih and Golmuri. The city SP is camping at Telco for probing the incident. We have got some leads and are confident of nabbing the culprits at the earliest,� the SSP said refusing to reveal much into the leads or deadline of bringing the culprits to book.

Homkar said that from today security has been increased in the posh locality of Nildih and its adjoining areas. �We have intensified checking drive and would ensure that the culprits are nabbed as early as possible.We are working on different angles that might have led to the incident,� the SSP added.

Sources in the police said that police are waiting to interrogate Sweta Sahay, wife of�the deceased. She is�a former employee of a private sector bank. She had quit her job two months back. Sources say that she is ill and has been admitted to Tata Motors hospital this afternoon.
