Jamshedpur, Oct 19: Vidya Bharti Chinmaya Vidyalaya defeated Gulmohur High School by 58/28 points in the first match of the school category while Shiksha Niketan beat Vivek Vidyalaya 32/29 points during the ongoing Inter school and Inter team Basketball tournament being organised by Tata Motors Sports Department at TML Sports Complex on Wednesday.
On day 3 of the tournament on Wednesday Nano Warriors overcame Tata Cummins in a closely contested match by 22/21 points in the team category.
In the second match of team category Trans Axle thrashed Prima challengers by 36/18 points.
The third match saw Safari Royals beat Nano Warriors by 37/22 points.
Semi final matches of inter team category will be played on October 21.
